Detox Soup! {Yummy soup filled with health benefits your liver, skin and waistline will thank you for.}

It is almost February!
That means we have endured a month of New Years resolutions and fighting the crowds at the gym!
That is, unless you are like me, and don’t make resolutions and your workouts consist of running after children and dragging in the grocery bags while wrangling the children. There is no denying that is decent cardio.
I know a lot of you are like me.
 I don’t make massive resolutions but I do make slight changes in my day to day life that will in the end make me happier and healthier.
After the Christmas indulging, the months after are a great time to eat whole foods, work out a little bit more and to be more positive in general. 
Besides, summer is a few short months away and we all know that beach bodies are made in the winter. 😉
So, let me introduce an amazing soup, perfected just for you and your future healthy, happy beach ready body.
This detox soup is as natural as I could make it. It is gluten free, allergen free, and organic.  It is full of healthy vegetables and has the slightest punch of spice, which will give you a kick in your step and will keep you full longer.
Did I mention it is totally easy to make too?
There are no excuses with this one.
This recipe is big enough to make a whole batch. You can eat it for lunch and dinner for a few days or you can share it with you family. The effects are unbelievable. There is no magic about it, there are no weird side effects, it is just natural whole foods cooked together to make you feel full longer, kick start your digestion, detox your liver and will ultimately make you feel healthier in no time.
You will need:
8 cups of water
2 cups of green beans
1 cup of chopped cauliflower
2 medium peeled and chopped sweet potato
1 package of frozen spinach
1 can of drained chopped tomato (28 fl oz)
 I chopped yellow onion
1 peeled and sliced medium carrot
5 tbs of organic veg soup mix
1 tsp of dill
2 tbs of lemon juice
1/2 tbs of yellow curry powder
1tbs salt
1 1/2 or 2tsp of crushed red pepper. (Depending on your liking for spice)
Throw all your ingredients into a big soup pot and bring to a boil. Once the veggies are slighting penetrable with a utensil, your soup is done.
 This Detox Soup is full of so much goodness!
You can trust me on this one, or, if you aren’t convinced, the truths below will get you running to the store with a list of produce in hand.
Onions are brimming with sulfur-containing amino acids, which efficiently detox the liver. Great for all you wine lovers.
Lemon contains citric acid, which can be effective in treating acne. The
vitamin C found in citrus fruits is vital for that healthy glowing skin
while its alkaline nature kills some types of bacteria known to cause
acne. Cheers to clear skin!
Tomatoes are widely known for their outstanding antioxidant content,
including, of course, their oftentimes-rich concentration of lycopene.
Carrots are known for their high vitamin A content which comes from
beta carotene, it gets converted into vitamin A in your liver, thus helping detoxify. Carrots also contain potassium, vitamin B6, copper, folic acid, thiamine and magnesium.
Green beans contain excellent levels of
vitamin A,
and healthy promoting flavonoid poly phenolic antioxidants; these
compounds help act as protective scavengers against oxygen-derived free
radicals and reactive oxygen species that play a role in aging
and various disease processes. Bye Bye wrinkles.
Spinach helps guard with gastrointestinal health since it is chalked full of fiber. The beta-carotene and vitamin C in it, work to protect the cells of the
body’s colon from the harmful effects of free radicals. Some conditions that are identified as inflammatory, such as arthritis, osteoporosis, migraine headaches, and asthma, may be helped because of the anti-inflammatory properties of some of the nutrients found in spinach.This
leafy green is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, magnesium,
folate, manganese, iron, calcium, vitamin C, vitamin B2, potassium, and
vitamin B6. It’s a very good source of protein, phosphorus, vitamin E,
zinc, dietary fiber, and copper. (Source.)
Sweet Potatoes have a slow burning quality to them since they are a high fiber vegetable; they are full of Vitamin B6 which helps keep the walls of your hearts important blood passageways flexible and healthy which allows blood to flow freely. Best of all, they are filled with beta-carotene or vitamin A which is an important antioxidant. (One medium sweet
potato provides your body with the complete recommended daily allowance
of vitamin A and then some.) 
Remember that most of these vegetables have even MORE health benefits then what is listed here, and that almost all of them are brimming with beautiful Vitamin A.
I cant get enough Vitamin A, since it is most widely known for its usefulness in the prevention of
several different types of cancer and is one of the most potent
antioxidants out there.
With all of that knowledge you will know you are giving your body the best soup out there, and then, once you taste its natural deliciousness, I’m sure you will be making a pot of this goodness every week.
