Some things I love…

Happy Valentines Day to you and yours.
I hope love finds you today and reminds you how joy can be found in enjoying and loving simple things.
I appreciate Valentines day for so many reasons, one being the simple fact, that it is encouraged to express your love and thankfulness to those around you.
This day isn’t JUST for couples, it is a time to tell and show those around you that you love and are thankful for them.
Today, I am thankful for having more love then I ever thought possible.
In my little world, there is so much to love.
I love messy morning hair, and siblings snuggling.

I love this little smile and the gap found in the middle of that smile. I love her sweet demeanor and the way she cares for those around her. I love playing “baby’ with her; where she cares for me like I am her own… where she pats my hand and rubs my back and whispers “I love you” in my ear.

I love this little boy and how he is growing up right before our eyes. I love his honesty and his funny little attitude. I love the way he gets on the floor and teaches his little brother how to play hockey and how he is already planning the things they will do together when they are older.

I love this sweet boy and his contagious smile. I love how he is the most charming little soul I have ever met. I love how he so easily grabs at my heart and in a way I cannot even put into words.

I love his chubby baby legs and how he is so determined to move and walk early, against all obstacles he has met in his short little life.

I love this pup, who rounds out our family. I love how she always adds a crazy dynamic to our home and how she puts up with acting like a “pony” for our kids.
And most of all I love that I share all these things I love with this man.
I love that we can see the joy in messy rooms, wiping small hands and faces, folding mountains of little clothing, waking in the middle of the night to tuck babies in to bed, watching cartoons, wrestling with little people, building projects, waking up again to tuck babies into beds, yelling over the chaos, family snuggles, and loving that this is the music that turns our crazy carousel called life.
Without you, all the things I love would not be possible. I love that we are happier then ever, with less sleep, less money and less hair.
(But with more laugh lines.)
I love that we see happiness in the small things and that we make our time and words count, amidst the chaos.
I love that you are my Valentine forever and ever.
