I love waking up in the mornings to this little Christmas tree that is tucked away in our coffee corner. As I wait for the coffee to drip into my mug I am reminded of the little hands that decorated this tiny tree with such care.
They love the little Santa shoes that navigate their way around the house and show up in different corners of our home. This week they hold stir sticks, last week they held television converters. 🙂
Speaking of corners, and “them” I love it when quiet places like this in our home…

These came from my corner kitchen cupboard…all stored away waiting for summer nights on the deck — or Christmas mantles. 😉
If you walk around my house for a minute, you realize I have an addiction to white candles…
Lighting these, and turning on some Christmas carols makes for a perfectly peaceful afternoon in our busy house.
I hope you and yours are enjoying a perfectly simple evening, with candles flickering and Christmas music playing, babies tired from singing their hearts out and all the simple pleasures that life can bring you.
