Simple Sunday – There is a Reason – A FREE Printable

Lately I have been very thankful for where I am and where my little family is in the great scheme of Life.

I haven’t always felt this way.

Being present in all situations is what I am striving to do.
It sounds easy, but being present means letting go of the past, and that, my friend, sounds harder and IS hard.

More than ever, I am trying to be thankful for where my life has been led even through the hurts, the tears, the sadness, the questions, the longing and the unanswered prayers, and to learn from the negativity I have encountered, in my past.

I am sure you can relate.

It is easy to look at times gone by and to focus on “when I was younger..” “when I had no worries..”, “when I had no bills…” “when life was easy…” “when I had….”, “when I was…” , “when I thought…”. “when I felt…” and so on and so on…

We all do it.

The only way to get over the “Whens..”  and the hurts of our pasts, and to embrace the present, is start by remembering this….

And that, my dear friend, is the only way we can start to let go of our pasts that can so easily consume us.

It takes work, but we can leave the past behind us and move forward to be so much more…

Be better.

Forgive.

Move on.

Be stronger.

Believe.

Stay true.

Be thankful.

Love more.

And be PRESENT.

The past is behind you, because you and I both are meant to be much more than our past dictated.

This is easy truth, and hard truth.

Easy to comprehend, and hard to do.

I am ready to be present, and to soak in every second of every day; to be thankful for the ones who care and give in to my life, and to forget negativity and my past that is just that …passed!

“There IS a reason your past is passed.”

….and the rest is up to you… (and me).

Much love.
