Around here we love a good before and after. By day, I work as a full time hair stylist and transform locks with color and texture variation. By night, we makeover our home’s spaces.
Once in a while though, inspiration strikes in a whole different way to spur a creative before and after.
Such was the case with my daughter’s dollhouse.
At one point this three tiered dollhouse was what both of our little girl dreams were made of. The space was roomy but compact with lots and lots of rooms to dream up story lines with in.
At one point all the matching furniture was also a dream come true.
Honestly the whole space was always pretty perfect and pretty-Barbie-dream-house-esque, except for the fact that around here we like a good project just as much as we love a good before and after.
We are always looking for something to recreate as well. Combined with our love for repurposing, it was only a matter of time before we tackled this dollhouse — our tiniest renovation project yet.
So without further ado our dollhouse bathroom makeover is on our YouTube channel.
Find out how we did it and what we used to transform a simple dollhouse bathroom into a tiny space that is layered with tons of texture and charm.
Think repurposed floors, lighting, vases, faucets, sink, art, mirror and accessories along with refinished miniature furniture!

February 23, 2017 at 6:00 pmOK, I just have to laugh! We have an old dollhouse here too and I've always wanted to "renovate" it and write a post about it! Great minds think alike! Love your attention to all the tiny details!

April 1, 2017 at 9:23 pmI have always loved dollhouses but I’ve never had the fortune to own one. I have 3 boys and unfortunately none of them are interested. 🙁 I love this series and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it! 🙂
