It’s almost Christmas!!! We have to plan a little ahead for our little families Christmas day brunch since we celebrate Christmas Eve day with my husbands family. My kids are just like me when I was a little girl and love decorating the table for a special meal. They like helping pick out the different dishes and learning where to place everything.
Christmas breakfast is an extra special meal for us. We usually take a break from opening Christmas gifts and eat a hot breakfast of eggs, polish sausage and toast and all the trimmings my husband likes. We put aside our gifts after reading the Christmas story, and we sit in our pajamas to eat breakfast, gather, talk excitedly, have a leisurely samosa and enjoy a second or third coffee.
The kids helped me set this years table with our “special dishes” and my daughter insisted she had to place the oranges on each plate and I was “not allowed to move them”. I like a little off centred goodness once in a while too. 😉 My son talked happily about all of us wearing our Santa hats on Christmas morning and placed them as a reminder on each of our chairs.
Here are some unedited photos that have my babies helping hands all over this Christmas morning table scape! Enjoy the plethora of visual holiday snapshots.
We hope you have a wonderful day today and tomorrow!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas with your family and loved ones! May you feel lots of love and laughter today and may God’s joy and warmth fill your heart this holiday season.
