I am trying to constantly live with a grateful spirit. This can be hard to do at times, but I like to think that I am on a life long journey of experiencing pure gratitude.
Today I am thankful for so much.
There is a lot I could write down, but our turkey dinner with all the trimmings is waiting, and I have never been one to be late for a delicious feast.
Mostly I am thankful for my people.
For my hard working loving husband, for the three beating hearts and smiling faces that destroy our blessed home most days, for the recognition that life is short, time is fleeting and love can change the world; and for a God whose grace is sufficient and always offered.
“To be grateful is to recognize the Love of God in everything He has
given us – and He has given us everything. Every breath we draw is a
gift of His love, every moment of existence is a grace, for it brings
with it immense graces from Him.
Gratitude therefore takes nothing
for granted, is never unresponsive, is constantly awakening to new
wonder and to praise of the goodness of God. For the grateful person
knows that God is good, not by hearsay but by experience. And that is
what makes all the difference.”

Wishing you joy and laughter today that a thankful heart can feel.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian friends and family, and happy Monday to everyone else. 😉
May we all find something to to be thankful for today.
